the home, the average kitchen is traditionally created with materials and
designs which limit its useful life span to approximately seven or eight

Unique gift
for somebody
Town and Country Homemakers, who
provide services throughout Huron County,
have a unique suggestion ' for a special
Christmas gift this year for a special person on
your list.
Jean Young, administrator, says anyone is
free to purchase hours for homemaking or
homecleaning from Town and Country
Homemakers. The idea would be to give these
hours of assistance to their elderly parents or
their homebound friends.
Offered are gifts of home help to do shopping,
snow shovelling, floor waxing or anything else
that might need to be done around the house.
Homemaking services could include,
assistance with personal care, light housework,
laundry etc.
Mrs. Young claims' more and more peciple in
the county are taking advantage of both the
home help'and homemaking services. But, she
admits, there are stillmany people who are
unaware of the type of service available.
For more informatiOn about a gift certificate
or just general information, telephone Mrs.
Young at 357-3222 or write to her care of Box
961, Wingham.
