1 Notice of Sale i
by Tender
Sealed tenders will be received by United Co-
operatives of Ontario until noon, January 10,
1980 for the sale of a vacant parcel of land
located near Lucknow, Ontario on Highway
#86, having approximately 39 acres end
presently zoned to allow highway comniercial
development [C-4].
The property is known as being Parts of Lots
47 and 48, Concession 1, in the Township of
Kinloss in the County of Bruce and is shown
as Part 2 on Reference Plan 3R-1649.
Tenders are invited on the following
conditions:
1. Tenders must be accompanied by a
certified cheque payable to United Co-opera-
tives of Ontario for ten [10%] of the amount
of tender as deposit, which deposit will be
returned if the tender Is not accepted, and
forfeited to United Co-operatives of Ontario
as liquidated damages if the tender is
accepted and the sale not completed by the
purchaser.
2. Only sealed tenders marked "UCO
Lucknow Property" will be accepted.
3. The highest or any tender will not
necessarily be accepted.
4. The tenders will be accepted on the basis

its annual pot luck supper
on December 3. The
Senior Citizens were
invited. It was a most
delicious dinner.
After coffee and
dessert, card tables were
set up. Everyone en-
thusiastically par-
ticipated in playing
progressive euchre.
Winners were: lady's
high, Mrs. Elaine Leddy
with a total of 38 points
and the men's high, Hugh
Leddy with 34 points.
A gift was presented to
the lady with the most
grandchildren which was
Mrs. E. Leddy.
A very , enjoyable
evening was had by all.
Many thanks to all the
ladies who helped make
the evening such a suc-
cess.

carols. Cecil Skinner

about that name". Nelson
Lear sang the solo "Have'
thy own way Lord".'Cecil
Skinner and Norman
Speir teamed Zip together
and played a violin duet,
accompanied by Mr.
Bissett at the piano.
Mrs. Prouty held Bible
study on Thursday af-
ternoon, and in the
evening at family night,
we were fortunate to have
the Wesley Willis church
choir in concert.
