The Reverend Robert
Crocker conducted the
service at Christ
Anglican Church in Port
Albert on Sunday.
Mr. Crocker had just
returned from Frobisher
Bay where he took part in
the Installation of Bishop
James Clarke as Suf-
fragan Bishop of the
Arctic. '
On his arrival in
.Frobisher Bay on
November 30, the tem-
perature was 23 below
zero.
In his sermon con-
cerning light and
darkness, he 'mentioned
at 4 )p.m. in Frobisher
Bay, it is quite dark and
in our daily lives, all of us
have something that we
would like to keep under
darkness.
The minister was
assisted in lighting the
First Advent Candle by

Sunday marked the

School. Five pupils were

having their annual Christ-
mas banquet in the Legion
Hall in Goderich on Decem-
ber 6th. Plans are also being
made for the Christmas
turkey bingo to be held on
December 8th in the parish
hall, and the children are
preparing -for their concert to
be held in the school on
December 18th.

daughters, Louise Martin,—
Maureen Chilton, Denise
and Maria motored to Fall's
Church, Virginia, last week,
to attend the funeral of
Raymond Dean - brother-in-
law of Clarice. Mass was
celebrated at St. Anthony's
parish Saturday, November
24th. Mr. Dean was formerly
of Goderich.
