a CP Rail snowplow ready to battle the elements this winter. The 60 -ton
machine is one of 57 snowplows and snow spreaders located in 22 locations
across CP Rail's 5,400 miles of track in Ontario. CP Rail will spend ap-

Report six accidents;
two are hit and run
Police report six ac-
cidents this week, in-
cluding two hit and runs.
On November 23 there
were two accidents, both
occurring on Huron
Road.
The first one happened
when a man drove off a
private lot and proceeded
west on Huron Road. He
crossed the eastbound
• lane Old a -curb, hitting -a
fence and a tree and
ending up on the lawn of
Cliff Hugill at 365 Huron
Road. He was taken to
hospital with minor in-
' juries.
The second accident
involved two cars, one
driven by a man from
Varna and the other

Street when a third car in
front of them made a
sudden move causing one
to swerve into the other.
There were no injuries
and police estimate
damages at about $600.

flexibility. A parttime
registered nurse then will
receive the same rate of
pay as in the fulltime
agreement, as well as 12
percent in leiu of benefits
plus holiday pay.
