These four . Robertson Memorial Public School
students designed Christmas cards for the 1979 festive
season to sell its• the hopes of raisingmoney for some
playground equipment for the school: The cards, have
been printed in bulk and will be sold by students from

ter's night. Drain 1 -can (1
lb.) julienne beets;
reserve the liquid. Add
beets to 1 can (1034 oz.)
vegetable beef soup,
seasoned • with 11/2
teaspoons seasoned salt
and 1/2 teaspoon seasoned
pepper; stir thoroughly.
Bring to a boil, reduce
heat and simmer for 10
minutes. Add 2
tablespoons lemon juice.
Makes about 4 servings;
top each with a dollop of
sour cream.

a potato into thick slices
and drop them into the

simmering an hour, the
potato will absorb some
of the salt. Remove the
potato, and throw it out,
