Father Edward Dentinger officiated at the double A wedding reception and dance are being held at the
ring ceremony. Lucknow Community Centre on November 17.
Music for the ceremony was provided by organist,
Denise Dalton and soloist, Marianne Frayne.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She ;
7 wore a silk organza gown with a high neckline and p '. {
yoke of chantilly lace and seed pearls. The sleeves of
the dress were tapered and the skirt featured a
pleated panel from waist to hemline, A .full chapel .:

Flower girl was Marianne Glazier of R.R. 4
Goderich. She wore a white silk jersey gown trimmed
iri pink with a matching cape. She wore a mauve
flower choker and carried flowers the same as the

1, bridesmaids.
Groomsman was Paul Dalton of Lucknow.
Guests were ushered into the church by Ron Boel of �:} ,.
R.R. 6 Goderich, Rick Boel of Port Albert, John
Reninck of Londesboro and Joe Van Rooy of
Kingsbridge.
Ringbearer was Michael Glazier of R.R. 4 Goderich.
Following the wedding, a reception was held at the
home of the bride's parents. The bride's mother
greeted guests wearing. a pink chiffon over taffeta
gown pleated from the waist down and featuring a tied
bow and matching cape.

For a wedding trip to Florida, the bride changed to a

Wed at home
Kim Mary Diehl-Muffit and Gary William Munro
exchanged marriage vows on October 6 at the home. of
the bride in Goderich.
The Reverend John D. M. Wood officiated at the
ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Muffitt of Goderich and the groom is the`son of Mr.
and Mrs. Russell Munro of Parkhill. •
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She
was attended. by her sisters, Linda, as maid of honor
and Susan, as bridesm4id.
Brian Munro, the groom's brother, was best man.
Ushers were Jim MacGregor and David Muffitt,
brother of.the bride.
Following the wedding ceremony and reception, Mr.
and Mrs. Munro honeymooned in Niagara Falls and
vicinity.

CLAYTON HODGINS
Settle
in London
The Rowntree Memorial United Church in London
was filled with gladioli and mums on October 29 for the
late afternoon wedding of Nicholas Harold Clayton
Hodgins and Karen Jayne Wilmott, both of London.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton
Hodgins of Clinton and the bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Kenneth Wilmott of London.
For the double ring ceremony, conducted by Rev.
Douglas Warren, the bride wore a Victorian styled
gown that featured a pearl embroidered bodice and
jacket and long flowing train. She wore a Victorial hat
and veil and carried a bouquet of gardenias and
carnations.
A friend of the bride, Elizabeth Evans of Kitchener
was the matron of honor. She wore a floor -length,
dusty rose colored gown and cape. The dress and the
cape featured a tulip styled ruffle. To complete her
outfit, she carried a bouquet of pink verigated
miniature carnations.
Sharon Brisebois, a friend of the bride and Rachel
Chandler, a cousin of the bride, both from London
were bridesmaids. They wore dressed identical to the
matron of honor's.
Best man for the ceremony was Kim Hodgins,, a
brother of the groom, from Clinton and guests were
ushered into the church by the groom's brother-in-law,
Peter Postma of Clinton and a friend of the groom,
William Collins of Ripley.
Pink miniature carnations decorated the Holiday
Inn City Centre in London for a dinner and reception
following the wedding. For the occasion the bride's
mother wore. a floor length teal blue colored dress,
which featured a blouson styled top. Her outfit was
completed with a corasge of yellow,roses. The groom's
mother wore a long dusty rose colored dress and'
crystal pleated jacket. She wore a corsage of vanilla
colored roses.
Guests at the wedding came from England, Buffalo,
London, Clinton, Londesboro, .Calgary, Goderich,
Lucknow and Ripley.
Before settling into their London home the Hodgins
honeymooned at Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
Wed in Baptist ceremony
Fall colored flower arrangements decorated First
Baptist Church •in Goderich on Saturday, September
22 at 4 p.m. for the wedding ceremony of Janet Marie
Hutchinson and Daryl Scott Brigham, both of London.
The hride is the daughter of Mr. \and Mrs. Alfred
Hutchinson of Goderich and the groom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Brigham of London.
Pastor Edward Anderson of Goderich officiated at
the double ring ceremony assisted by the Reverend
Ivan Morgan of Stratford. •
Organist for the ceremony. was the bride's aunt,
Mrs. James Lobb of R.R. 2 Clinton. Soloist was Mrs.
Laurel Kenney of London who sang Oh Perfect Love,
Wedding Prayer and Ode to Joy.
The hride was. given in marriage by her father. She
wore 0 chiffon dress with guipure lace accenting the
yoke. The dress featured a high neckline with pearl
medallion, a blouson front accented with guipure lace,
bishop sleeves and a softly flowing skirt falling into a
chapel length train.
The bride also wore a white wide brimmed hat with
floe i r s at the base of the brim and a veil flowing from
the flowers. She carried a bouquet of fall colored silk
roses.
Maid of honor was Peggy Young of London, friend of
the bride. She wore a floor length polyester crepe
sleeveless dress of mint green with a matching floral
cape. She carried a basket of fall colored silk flowers
and wore matching silk flowers in her hair.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Deb Hutchinson of
Goderich, sister-in-law of the hride and Miss Eleanor
Lohh of Stratford, cousin of the bride. They were
gowned identically to the maid of honor and carried
the sante baskets of flowers.
Junior bridesmaid. was Miss April Wood of London,
niece of tilt. Ai ou i .aur 0.as f,vor.,uuuar I to the
bridesmaids.
All of the bridal attendants wore silver lockets, gifts
from the hride.
Groomsman was Bob Lizmore of London, friend of
the groom.
'Guests were ushered into the church by Barry
Hutchinson of Goderich, brother of. the bride and
Warren Lindsay of London, friend of the groom.
Ringbearet was Doug Swales of London, nephew of
the groom.
The groom and his attendants wore white and -black
tuxedos with mint green ruffled shirts and white
carnation boutonnieres tinted with mint green.
Following the wedding ceremony, a dinner and
reception were held at Saltford Valley Hall.
The bride's mother greeted guests wearing a floor
length coral dress with blouson styled bodice and a
corsage of 'white silk roses.
The groom's mother assisted wearing a floor length
light blue dress with a corsage of pink silk roses.
A special guest at the wedding was the groom's
grandmother who flew from Moose Jaw for the oc-
casion.
For a wedding trip to the East Coast, the bride
changed to a beige and pink polyester cotton street •... e.01. ,<..-.<. s....._.._... ,._
length dress with brown accessories.
Mr. and Mrs, Brigham are residing at 19 Vincent
Crescent in London.
Prior to the wedding, the bride was feted at several
showers. A kitchen shower was held at the home of
Mrs. Clarence Miller, assisted by Mrs. James Lobb.
The family of the groom held a shower. Friends from
college held a shower. A shower was held at the horde
of the aid of honor, Peggy Young. And three showers
were g ven 1:4 the -dietary staff of Victoria Hospital.
