pass from Ron Corriveau
to draw the Merchants to
within one.
Fisher held Thedford
off for the third period
until Standen got the
equalizer.
Against Parkhill
Sunday night the Mer-
chants could do no wrong.
Goderich scored three
times in the first, six
times in the second and
once in the third before
Parkhill got on the board.
Bruce Bowman, Phil
Petrie and Rob Standen
paced the Merchant
attack. Bowman scored a
hattrick and assisted on
another goal, Petrie

Walke.rton,80 _,_39,.
Goderich jumped out to

the night with 12 points.
Offensively strong
performances were also
played by Greg Beacom
with 16 points. Jeff
Baechler with 15 points
and Warren Watt with 13
points.
A balanced scoring
attack was evident with
Greg 'Smith dumping in
eight points, Phil Bugler
with six and Dave Ross
and Pete Teichert scoring
five each..
Defensively, Goderich
used its height advantage
to good use in pulling
