Robertson Roundup
To celebrate the CROSS COUNTRY
International Day of the MIDGET AND
Child at Robertson C ' JUNIOR
school, the students of
Mrs, Freeman's Grade 3
class and Mr. Leggatt's
Grade 8 class wrote some
co-operative stories.
Here is one story told to
Sandy Lane and Kim Sch-
weitzer by Lori -Jane
Lamb
The cross-country meet
was held at Point Farms
on October 18. The course
was two km for the
Midgets and Juniors.
The Midget girls didn't
win the pennant but did
their best.

the children on

them.
But one Hallowe'en the
witch didn't come and all
the children wondered
why. They wondered if it
was Hallowe'en. -
Then finally the' witch
came with all her friends,
the ghosts, goblins and
-witches. They were going
to .a party at the haunted
house.
When they got there,
the children decided to
see what they were doing.
It will be hard, they
' thought, because there
were ghosts guarding the
house.

T-SHIRTS
Mr. Scott will choose
four to eight designs for
the T-shirts and
Christmas cards, get the
other teachers' approval
and then take them to a
local artist and get his
approval. He also hope
to be able to contribute a
small amount and also
hopes that there will be
many donations from the
work drive that was on
October 20.
The T-shirts are for
Grade 8 graduation; the
pumpkins and the
Christmas cards are to
raise money for the
playground equipment.
ARTIST VISITS
THE SCHOOL
On October 17 an artist
named Stan Crookwall
came to display his work
for the students of RMPS.
