West Wawanosh Council
APPLIANCE REPAIR
Auburn trustees attend
Several by-laws were
passed when West
Wawanosh Tuwnship
Council met on October 2
in regular session.
By-law number 13, 1979
was given a third reading
and finally passed. This
by-law authorizes the
sale of 32 acres of the
north half of the west half
of Lot 25, Concession 6,
Township ..of West
Wawanosh for the sum of
542,000.
By-law number '19, 1979
was given a third reading
and passed. This by-law
authorizes the sale of part
of the south half of Lot 13,
Concession 13, Township
of West Wawanosh for the
sum of 593,000.
'By-law number 15, 1979,
was given a third reading
and passed, subject to the
agreement being
changed if not expressing
the intention of council
regarding the disposal of
the 18 acres owned by the
township. This by-law
authroizes the reeve and
the clerk to sign the
agreement granting first"
right of refusal to pur-
chase the said 18 acres.
A motion was passed
that the Township of West
Wawanosh agree to
extend the date of closing
on the sale of part of Lot
13, Concession 13 to
January 1, 1980, with
interest at 10 per cent on
S25,000 of the balance of
the purchase price.
Two of Auburn's
trustees attended the
council meeting regar-
ding a charge for a fire
call to the village. Council
informed the trustees
that it would have to be
paid.
• The clerk was in-
structed to inform
Durham Lightning Rod
Limited that they had
accepted its price sub-
mission for repairs to the
eavestrough on the
Public Works Garage and
to proceed with the work
as soon as possible.
The application for a
loan for tile drainage
submitted by L.
Morrison, was accepted
by council.
Anstett. Jewellers
G. Smyth was granted
a building permit for an
addition to be used as a
paint shop.

and discussed. Council
expressed some
dissatisfaction with the
draft agreement and the
clerk was directed to
contact the municipal
solicitor in regard to a
change or assurance that
the agreement as drawn
expressed the intention of
council.
A motion was passed
that the reeve and the
clerk be authorized to
apply for the interim

Simply take your bond to any bank or other
authorized -Canada Savings Bondissuing.agent. As
roof of payment, they'll remove the upper left
hand corner and the bond will then be given hack
to you. Remember, you do not have to redeem
your bond or clip any of the interest coupons
in order to get this cash kIonus payment.
Starting Qctober 9 you can make advance
