Goderich home
Knox Presbyterian Church in Goderich was
decorated with mauve gladioli pedastal arrangements
for the wedding ceremony of Mary Helen MacDonald
and David John Graf, both of Goderich, on Saturday,
July 14 at 330 p.m.
The brie is the daughter . of Mrs. Donalda
MacDondald of Goderich and the late Lloyd
MacDonald. The groom is the son of Peter and Kay
Graf also of Goderich.
The Reverend G. L. Royal officiated at the double
ring ceremony. Music was provided by organist Lorne
Dotterer and soloist Marianne Frayne.
The bride was given in marriage by her oldest
brother, Colin MacDonald of Lambeth, Ontario. She
wore a long candlelight wedding gown of polyester
satin and Georgette in blouson style, featuring a thin
tie belt, lace front yoke and full-length sleeves with
lace cuffs. She also wore a hat with a mid-calf veil to
match the gown. The dress, hat and veil were designed
by her sister, Mrs. Joan Black.
She carried a bridal cascade bouquet of silk coral
roses, white daisies and lily of the valley.
Maid of honor was Barb Reynolds of Goderich. She
wore a mid-calf length blouson style sundress of
mauve crepe with a floral overlay and a wide brim-
med hat designed to match the dress. She carried -a
cascade bouquet of silk roses and daisies.
Bridesmaids were Connie Falkiner and Dale Oke,
both of. Goderich. They wore the'" same dresses and
carried the same bouquets as the,maid of honor_
Groomsman was Paul Graf of Auburn.
Guests were ushered into ° the church by John
MacDonald and Glen Falkiner, both of Goderich.
Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was
eld at Saltford Valley Hall: The bride's mother •
reeted guests wearihg a mid-calf length pink dress •
with a corsage of white rose buds.
The groom's mother chose a long coral colored gown
with a pleated coverlet and a corsage of white rose
buds.
Following a wedding trip to Honey Harbour,
Ontario, Mr. and Mrs. David Graf took up residence at
41'185 St. David Street, Goderich.
Prior to the wedding, the bride was feted at showers
hosted by Mary Suchard of Goderich, Zella Crawford
of Goderich and Johanna Gottschalk of Goderich. An
afternoon party was held for the bride and groom at
the cottage. of Eve and Mack MacKenzie in Kin-
cardine. A stag and stagette were also held for the
bride and groom.
