ticipating in the Goderich 10 km Classic road race, as the picture might
indicate, but gathered for a team picture as one of the more colorful entries
in the fun run. Although none of the team members placed high in the
standings they had praise for organizers in their initial attempt at a road
race.
Sailors plan holiday
BY D. R. BUNDY
As well as running a
very competitive racing
program, the Goderich
Sailing Club also
organizes a "Cruising -
Holiday". No, it's not a
cruise on •a passenger
ship in the Caribbean, but
rather a journey to the
picturesque North.
Channel of Georgian Bay.
The co-ordinator for the
two-week event, Paul
Carroll, says that seven
boats have already
decided to join the group.
They will depart in a
group on Friday af-
ternoon -and --sail-- direct to
Tobermory.. At the
"Tub", other members of
the family witl join the
boats for the more en-
joyable part of the trip.
Paul and his wife Mary,
and their two boys, are all
veterans when it comes to
cruising the North
Channel and are• looking
forward to the holiday,
accompanied by all the
other boats from our
club. Have a great trip,
