God's creation
BY THE REV.
R. J. CROCKER'
RECTOR,
ST. GEORGE'S
ANGLICAN CHURCH
As I write this column,
I am. not in rn.y study. I
am looking out over the
blue waters of Hope Bay,
with the cliffs of the
escarpment fading into;
the distance through the '
heat haze. And I am
thinking about the
wonders of God's
creation: the clear purity
of the water, the
changing colours of the
bay and its shores, and

centrate on their watercolors at Community
Vacation Bible School. The bible school, 'which

I
become depraved. Yes, I
can find Gold easily in His
creation, eyen more
easily in my fellow man,
marred as they both are.
I find Him best through
Christ Jesus, and the
Father's image in Him.
"He that hath seen me
hath seen the F ther,"
All that mankind Father,"
do
to Him, "the man of
sorrows, acquainted with
grief" through His Cross,
would be overeome.
And his Victory would
take with it all of creation
which . (Roman. 8)
"groaneth and travaileth
in pain together until
now". So, as with
mankind, Jesus saves the
natural order of things.
And always, Jesus needs
us to take part in His
Redemption by teaching,
preaching, and doing His
will.
I may preach to you. If
you are willing, and I am
able, I may teach you.
The beach, like you,
cannot cleanse . itself.
Someone, you or I, has to
do something about it.
My part in redeeming
God's Creation, , at this.
moment, is a very
practical one. It consists
in helping to clean up the
beach.
