After the ceremonies, the parents of the kindergarten ctass were invited for refresh- ments served in the library. Awards were as follows: band awards by Mr Blackwell; activity bars for members; choir award, by Mr. Blackwell, activity bars for mem- bers; `student council awards 'by Mr. Scholl, activity bars for mem- bers. Public speaking awards were given by Mr. Reaburn to junior, Shelley Teal; Jenny Allen, Stephen Bugler. Senior, Barb Forbes, Brenda Harris, Janine M'ayhecv. Library awards were given -by Mrs. Pullman. - School soccer team •awards to: most'valirable pryer, Sean Van D ngen; girls. most s ay held Wednesday, June 27, when the ceremony opened by the singing of O Canada. Musical selections were.played by the school band directed by Mr. Blackwell. Mr. Reaburn final speech to the graduation class was as follows: - "Mr, Kenwell, parents, staff members, graduates and students: I feel somewhat at a disadvantage . this af- ternoon as this is my last understanding, respect - these attitudes must be taught with a renewed vigour by teachers and parents for the benefit of students' and future citizens.
