Suddenly a penny drops and things become quite clear We the grade eights are leaving now and all of us have tears. Suddenly a penny drops and things become quite clear The grade eights want to thank you Brookside For all these wonderful" years A warm welcome to all attending. this simply wonderful grade eight graduation. In my poem, I .men- tioned that "there is no one left to impress." Thi6 being bur last year you realiie that indeed there is "no one left to .im- press." . We're leaving here now as well as that we will be- leaving all the teachers that we have been trying • to impress with our sweet talking- and so called - 'good deeds'. Well, being in grade eight now you. realize that this is just a threat, but even though it is jiist a threat there is not one of us out on the yard the next day withofft something to do. You know our parents haven't received much mention of • yet and I really think that they should be .complimented on the great •way they handle us when we come home with a great big stack of homework.
