"I'm the third Moffatt to be taught by. Mr. Reaburn and even though we have varying opinions and likes about him, we all agree about some things, such as what a good teacher he is, ,his fairness and especially how he prepares you for high school. "I have often disagreed with Mr. Reaburn and his different opinions, especially in the area of politics and government, but this is the trait of a fine teacher. Games are played Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Let's all come out and support and cheer our children on while playing ball. About 50 children turned out on Tuesday night to play T -ball under the direction of Hugh Lobb. These children play every ,Tuesday night. Personals Miss Sandra Gauleder of Queensbury West Yorkshire, England • spending a month's vacation with Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Betties. This is Sandra's first visit to Canada and she is thoroughly enjoying herself. To date, she naa visited Niagara Falls, Dayton, Ohio - and is yet to visit Ottawa, Quebec, and Pitch Pine Island, one of the Thousand Islands in the St. Lawrence. Do hope you enjoy yourself while here Sandra and have a safe journey home. Huronview Citizens Week Senior Citizens Week started off at Huronview with Rev. Wittick holding church service in the auditorium. Rev. Wittick brought the Blyth Church Choir and coir own Huronview Choir also sang. On Monday, we welcomed Wingham Happy Gang, and The Happy Citizens from Seaforth. The en- tertainment on Monday afternoon was card games with prizes, put on by the Seaforth Senior Citizens. Hanna Wilson ,was at the door to greet our guests, and look after registration. Elsie Hen- derson, accompanied by Frank Bissett on the piano, made her "dan- cing doll" perform. Mrs. Snell played "My Wild Irish Rose", and "Let me Call You Sweetheart", on the piano. Frank Bissett also accompanied our Huronview Choir while they sang. Nelson Lear and Mrs. Elsie Hen- derson sang a duet, and Mrs. Henderson played a couple of pieces on her bells. We were treated to an hour's program by the Harboraires from Goderich, under the direction of Mr. L. Dotterer, in the evening. Mrs. Grace Peck and Mabel Garrow acted as hostesses, greeting and registering our guests: On Wednesday° Swinging Seniors from Blyth, and the Old Agers from Zurich visited. The afternoon program was put on by Doris McKinley and her ukulele group. Miss Becky McKinley gave us a chance to view her step dancing with two lively tunes. Thursday, the Senior Friendship Club—from Brussels, and the Bayfield Ever Young Club came to visit. We had a "games day" for entertainment. This consisted of bingo and games, of chance. The Day Care Center , sold strawberry shortcake which was a real treat. Special thanks goes to the Clinton Lions members, Bill Fleischour, Bert Gliddon, Mr. and Mrs. Red Garon, Mr'. and Mrs. Stewart Taylor, who ran the games of chance and the bingo. The day -long event was sponsored by District No. 31, Knights of Columbus, who presented the winners with trophies and medals.
