school term. An increase
of 25 cents per hour will
be paid to drivers of
board owned buses for

time, bringing their rate
to $5.25 per hour.
During the summer of
1977, the board purchased
a 12 -passenger van and
had a mechanical loading
device installed to
provide transportation
for Peter Doherty to
Kingsbridge School. The
cost of the equipment was
fully paid by provincial
grants.
When Peter starts
attending Goderich
District Collegiate
Institute, the Huron
County Board of
Education has elected to
contract the service for
his attendance at school,
thus terminating the
responsibility of the
Huron -Perth Separate
Board. The van will be
returned to the board.
As there is no im
mediate need for the
"lift the board has
agreed to let the Doherty
family install it on their
own van, on a month-to-
month basis without
charge, for a period not '
exceeding two years, or
until required by the
board, providing the cost
of removal is absorbed by
the Doherty family.
