Stn/en Kellogg, renowned author - illustrator of over two dozen books won the hearts of thirty-two grade 3 children at Victoria School when he responded with warmth, sincerity, and en- thusiasm to letters of appreciation from the class. It is this kind of intimate experience with books that firmly establishes a child's love and desire for quality literature. Certainly, I know a lot of little kids who search out the name 'Kellogg' on book covers! Steven Kellogg was born• in Connecticut and has loved to draw and to tell stories since his pre- school days. Mr. Kellogg attended the Rhode Island School of Design, studied in Florence and Washington, D.C. Now he devotes all his time to writing and illustrating at his home in .Sandy Hook, Connecticut where he lives with his wife and six children and pets. The following list is a brief sampling of Steven Kellogg's delightful books which everyone will enjoy, especially for their imaginative, detailed illustrations.
