Tykes learn' in London.
• On Saturday and
Sunday the . Victoria &
Grey Tyke hardball team
travelled to London to
take part in their annual
16 -team tournament.
Going in the boys could
see they were outclassed
but were there to have
fun and played to the very
best of their ability.
Goderich played a round
robin with teams from
Kitchener, Oakridge
Acres of London and
Toronto. Despite losing
all three games the boys
learned some valuable
lessons in the game of
baseball and certainly
provided some exciting
moments of their own.
One of the high spots
had to be in the final '
game against Toronto
when Joe Fitzpatrick
went the distance for
Goderich and recorded 11
strikeouts. The Tykes
