St. Mary's Scoop BY LYNDA GLEASON ANGELA DONNELLY MIKE WEBB St. Mary's track meet was held on Wednesday, June 6, The winners of the first and second ribbons and also some thirds travelled to Wingham on Tuesday June 12th to compete in the zone track meet. The day was a success and almost all of the students actively took part. The Reverend A.F. Loebach celebrated his 32nd yearin the priesthood last week. He has been with us for two years: Father celebrated Mass at the school on his anniversary. The school newspaper editors had a coloring contest for the kin- dergarten and Grades one and two. The winner of the kindergarten division was Jimmy Craig. The winner of the Grades one and two was Janet Sherratt. The editors of the paper also had a contest to see who could draw the best cover for the next edition. Mary Teresa O'Neil of Grade eight wasthe winner.
