Mrs. Hugh McWhinney and Mrs. Elmer Black placed flowers in memory of Mrs. Cudmore and Mrs. Amber Popp of the Clinton Branch, Mrs. Rod Bogie of Tiger Dunlop and Mrs. Gordon Gaunett, Mrs. Robert Galbraith and Mrs. William Taylor of the Wingham Branch. - The guest speaker, Miss Helen Allen was introduced by Mrs. Tom Duizer of the Londesboro Branch. Miss Allen spoke on the rights of the child. Mrs. Lockhart presented the resolution sent in by Goderich Br"anch:Whereas the Government of Ontario has seen fit to order the closing of hospital beds throughout the province to the point where the health and welfare of the people are endangered, therefore be it resolved that the Federated Women's Institutes of Ontario request the Ontario government to find a more reasonable solution to this problem in the province. This was passed and will go on to London Area.
