During Police Week, all are pleased to wear the buttons which say "Cops are Tops" and remind ourselves to be appreciative of the protection we ,as citizens receive. Brother Eugene Frayne of- the Goderich Council addressed the gathering of about 150 couples of police and Knights, reminding all of their - responsibility to society in upholding the laws, and he extended to the police and their wives a warm welcome. The music was superb and the dance floor was filled to capacity with, every selection as the police and Knights squired their partners around the floor. All owe a vote of thanks to the wives of the Goderich Knights who provided a delightful lunch to all the people present. By hosting this annual event, the Knights pledge their support to the police forces and hope they in turn will call upon us in time of need.
