rescinded an earlier
motion in which the town

$125,000 debenture ,,on
behalf of the PUC
finance the building of the
station.
Now the` 'to'wn will
finance the major portion
of the cost from a reserve
fund at an interest rate of
10 per cent. The town has
received verbal approval
from the OMB to loan
$73,000 to the PUC over a
five year period.
The PUC will make
annual payments of
$18,525.60 to the town.
The town does not need
Ontario Hydro approval
to make the loan since 'it
will not have . to seek
external financing.
The PUC requires the
substation to provide
adequate electrical
service to the town during
peak load periods and in
case of another station
breakdown.
