INJURED BY HORSE,
Mr. Richard Davey .of the 4th con-
cession of Stephen, had a !narrow es-
cape with leis Life on, Tuesday of last
week. He was in the barn attending
the horses and while in the stall with
a four-year-old colt the animal be-
came unmanageable and throwing Mr,
Darcy down trampled on him, breaking
his hip and right deg, a number a'ibs
and otherwise inflicted several bodily
wounds. He was eater found in the
stall by his von in. a helpless ..oath. -
tion and almost lifeless, .Medical aid
was at once summoned and whale 7n
a badly used up condition he is now, art
