The following .is a poem
written by eight-year-old
Sonya McCallum,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert McCallum of
Goderich, for her friend
on Valentine's Day.
On Valentine's Day
With hearts red and gay
We'll gather and
spread
A11 •the love high above.
3, We'll run and play
And tell everyone of the
day
When we give cards to
friends
We hate when it has to
end.
We get gay red hearts
And eat cherry tarts
We hear the story
Off St. Valentine and
ae're•not sorry:
It's a time of love and
joy
For each little girl and
boy
I love you and you love
me too
And when it ends we cry
boo-hoo.
It's a terrible shame
but there's
Not one person to blame
When all the fun ends
And gone are our friends.
When the wonderful
day ends
And gone are our friends
We take down the
decorations
Till next year's
celebrations.

delightful puppet show, The Great Totem -Pole
Caper, which opened at the Royal Ontario Museum,
Toronto, March 3. The play shows what happens
when two naughty beavers steal the museum's
gigantic totem -pole. The Pepi Puppet Theatre,
which is putting on the play, is directed by Andrew

Tear it for things with

Once you've seen how
well these and other

inspired to give them

Exciting Ways to Make
Presents is another in
this series which shows
you how to make gifts for'
just about anyone from
ordinary things around
your house. With a little

Mom an attractive
hanger for clothes.
Finally, after a hard
day's work • creating,
everyone likes to relax
with a song. Apusskidu;

Concrete on farm
There are very few
farmers who have done
any building projects
without making some use
of concrete. It is a very
widely used building
procduct, but it is probably
theleast understood.
The Ontario Ministry of
Agriculture and Food in

Speakers will be
present to talk about such
things as making quality

If you think the new models from Detroit have less
car to offer, with more extra cost options, at higher
prices, consider a Volvo. Not only have our 1979
Volvos retained all the qualities which have estab-
lished the Volvo reputation, but they've gained new
styling and handling which make them our best
value ever.
Make sure you test drive a new Volvo at our
showroom soon. Then you can choose your next car
with the knowledge that a lesser car might cost you
more, Whereas anything more than a Volvo could
hardly cost you less.'rolsvo
