Robertson Roundup
SKATING
Last week Mrs. Pare's,
Mr. Currie's and Mr.
Scratch's classes went
skating. They left at 10:30
a.m. and arrived back at
Robertson at non. They
played many interesting
games such as hockey
and broomball, as well as -
practising Skating. It was
interesting to play new
games as well as a lot of
fun.

On Monday, February
26, there was a solar
eclipse. This
phenomenon, the last of
this century, was only
partial in Goderich. In
Robertson school, the
TALENT
CONTEST
Mr. Hanna's class was
chosen to put on
something to raise money
for Grade 8 graduation.
They chose to put on a
Talent Contest.
On February 28 the
contest was put on. The
first act was Jean
Twynham and she
danced; the second act
was Paul Bogie and he
played the guitar; the
third act was Debbie
Moore and she did
highland dancing; the
fourth act was Melody
Dolman and she sang;
the fifth act was Mr.
Hanna, playing his
saxophone (he was not in
the competition); the
sixth act was David Reed
and he danced; the
seventh act was Chuck
Allen and Steve Mabon
and they did a ven-
A talent contest to raise money for the Grade 8
graduation was held at Robertson Memorial Public
School last Wednesday. Winners were, left to right,
David Reed, second place, who did a fifties dance to
the song Grease Lightning; Kim Fritzley, first
place, w.hO did, the Irish Jig; and Jean Twynham,
