President, Mrs. Elmer Rivers was in charge and after welcoming everyone, read a poem entitled My Friend. Mrs. Mabel Crouch was the pianist, and played several selections as the ladies arrived. The hymn, All People that on Earth do Dwell, was sung and the devotional period was taken by members of the Barbara Kirkman Society, Mrs. May Habkirk and Miss Janet Cluff of Seaforth. After correspondence was read, the ladies were reminded that the World Day of Prayer will be held on March 2 with the theme being Spiritual Growth.
