Mrs. Wm. Jewell, group leader, chaired the meeting which opened with prayer and a New Year's poem. Everyone sang the opening hymn, "What a Friend we have in Jesus" with Mrs. Ben Straughan at the piano. Thtp devotion period was taken by Mrs, Wm. Treble and Mrs. Hugh Feagan who presented a dialogue on. "The Lord's. Prayer" which was very appropriate.
