On June 1 I did a feature on Victoria Street United Church which was ob-
serving, pie 100th anniversary of its building and the 120th anniversary of its
congregation. I couldn't have written that feature without the help of this
lady; Mrs. Chester (Lizzie) Feagan. She can practically be considered the
official church historian. Her grandfather, William Swaffleld was one of the
earliest church members. -
Bob Stoddart, a silversmith working out of a garage on St. George's
Crescent, was featured in the Signal -Star. in June. Bob, a Sheridan graduate
and winner of several awards, has started the Maitland River Silver-
smithing business. • -
