THE TRUE MEANING
' OF CHRISTMAS
The true meaning of
Christmas is the birth of
our Saviour.
Back in those days,
there was only.a few inns,
and Mary and Joseph
were corning in the gates
of Bethlehem and inns
were full and the only
place to stay was in a
stable. The only place for'
the baby to lay in was a
manger with sweet
smelling hay. Mary took
some of her own clothes
and wrapped him up.
As the star of
Bethlehem shone bright.
There were three Kings
folling the star, with
presents of 'gold and
jewels. You could hear
the angels singing in the
heavens above.
Maybe you could hear
them today if you're
really listening. That day
until this day, we know
Jesus was born on
Christmas Day.

On Christmas Eve
Ali children dream
Of candy and toys
Of sugar plums
Of dolls and bottles
Of tractors and trucks
But the true meaning.of
christmas is Christ's
Birthday.
Not the scurrying in
streets
Not the buying presents
for one another
Not the happiness of
receiving a gift.

THE TRUE MEANING
OF CHRISTMAS
AROUND THE WORLD
The true meaning of
Christmas is not thinking
of what you are going to
get for Christmas or
pretty lights on the tree
or even on the house.
The real meaning of
Christmas is thinking of
our Savior Jesus. He was
born on Christmas Day in
a little town called
Bethlehem.
Christmas is a time for
giving just like the three
wise men did when the
little baby Jesus was
born.
So when you're
thinking of what you're
going to get for Christ-
mas instead think of true
meaning of Christmas is
all about Jesus Christ Our
savior.

THE TRUE MEANING
OF CHRISTMAS
The true meaning of
Christmas is when Jesus
being born, lying in the
manger sleeping, the
wise men coming offering
their gifts of their riches.
That's the true
meaning of Christmas
around the world, but
another meaning is...
THE TIME OF
SHARING
At Christmas time you
are running from store to
store, town to town,
buying gifts for other
people. Your relatives,
neighbours, family and
friends could be some
but...Santa Claus just
didn't do just those people
but the whole world.
He first had a horse and
sleigh then a team of
reindeer and sleigh,
flying over the rooftops,
landing and falling down
the chimney, filling the
stockings as in the poem
"The Night Before
Christmas." The
Christmas tree and all
the decorations.
That's one meaning of
Christmas. The true holly
meaning is going to
church, not staying at
home playing with
Christmas gifts. So this
Christmas tnink about it.

THE MEANING OF
CHRISTMAS AROUND
THE WORLD
Christmas is the birth of
Jesus.
fle was born so he could
save us from sin.
The three wisemen and
the shepherds came
before Jesus and knelt
down before him.
The wisemen brought
gifts for him. That is part
of the meaning of
Christmas, giving and
sharing with others.
Christmas is a time for
love forgiveness and joy.
Jesus preached about
God while he was living
and died on the cross for
us.
When Christmas comes
we are thinking about
what we might get and
Santa Claus. In the word
Christmas the first six
letters spell, Christ. So,
think about the meaning
of Christmas and about
Christ who was born.

In 1976 I received an
organ for Christmas. My
Mother played it a lot.
Now it is almost two
years old. My Dad has not
played it once. You
should of seen what 1 got
in 1975. I got a big red
bicyle.
