What is :Ghristmas
like in other lands?
CHRISTMAS IN
ENGLAND
Land is green, cold and
damp.
Geese and ducks head
South,
The winds roar, and
. people snore,
In their beds, all snug and
warm.
The people were happy,
their hearts were light,
for on that night,
a star shone bright.
Christmas is joyous,
and fun for all,
but let us not forget,.
the meaning behind it all.

CHRISTMAS IN OTHER
LANDS
On Christmas Eve one
night John Parker, was
sitting by the fire. "I
wonder if Santa will come
tonight?" But up in the
North Pole, Santa lay in
bed. "Darn it, if I don't
get rid of this cold I won't
be able to visit those good
little boys and girls.
"There go's the alarm
clock" •! "Santa, come
on" cried Pushy Santa's
favorite elf: So with not so
much as a "Ho, Ho, Ho,
Santa was out of bed and
out of his house in the
North Pole with his bag of
gifts and all of his rein-
deer pulling his sled, he
visited all the good little
boys and girls. The End

IN THE ARCTIC
In the Arctic with the
Eskimos, I stayed for
Christmas. It was funny
because all summer we
had snow on the ground,
but on Christmas day it
was hot and there was no
snow. The bears were
very. happy because they
could eat fish, but the fish
ate them instead. So you
can have a happy
Christmas up North.

CHRISTMAS
TRADITIONS
IN SCOTLAND
!n Scotland there are
not many Christmas
traditions... but alot of
superstitions!
One is: Say a person
just walked in, if you
were a reliable sport you
would give he or she a
bottle of bubbly or
something of that sort,
The rest is for New
Years. (Which gets you
geared!)
