The Rev. G.L. Royal
then gave an appropriate
Christmas message and
after receiving,the report
of the nominating
committee with Mrs.
G.L. Royal as convener,
installed the officers for
1979. This concluded a
very interesting and
successful year. Due to
the efforts of all the
members and all in-
terested in W.M.S. work„
the W.M.S. was able to
reach its allocation for
1978.

chair and thanked all the
members again and
asked them sincerely for
their co-operation in the
very much enjoyed by the
89 members present on
December 13.

an executive meeting,

Wednesday, January 3 at
2 p.m.

McFarlane, who just
transferred from
Seaforth, also attended:
During the evening, the
draw for the Christmas
cakes was made. The
winners were Erpily
Wilkins, Mrs. Arnold
Beach, and Norma
Kingswell. Brenda
Dineen won the mystery
prize and Marian Harris
won the attendance prize.
Forty-one veterans
were able to make it to
their special Christmas
party. It is a great treat
