Royal then gave an appropriate Christmas message and after receiving,the report of the nominating committee with Mrs. G.L. Royal as convener, installed the officers for 1979. This concluded a very interesting and successful year. Due to the efforts of all the members and all in- terested in W.M.S. work„ the W.M.S. was able to reach its allocation for 1978. President, Mrs. G. Kaitting then 'took the. chair and thanked all the members again and asked them sincerely for their co-operation in the very much enjoyed by the 89 members present on December 13. coming year. She said the W.M.S. needs members' suggestions, presence and help. She called for an executive meeting, weather permitting, at Knox church parlor on Wednesday, January 3 at 2 p.m. The Presbyterial an- nual meeting will be in Seaforth on Wednesday, January 10 and the regular Januarymeeting Brenda Dineen was initiated as a new member and Gerrarda McFarlane, who just transferred from Seaforth, also attended: During the evening, the draw for the Christmas cakes was made.
