The -Huron Day' Centre for the Homebound held a
Christmas Party at Huronview last Wednesday and
several clients of the Centre put on Christmas skits
to the delight of the others. Here, The Night Before

Afternoon Auxiliary was
held in the church parlor
on Tuesday, December 12
at 2:30 p.m.
The meeting opened
with the President, Mrs.
G. Kaitting,'welcoming
all and giving the call to
worship, it is the
Christmas Season, the
birthday of a King, the
Saviour of the world,
followed by the poem, Let
us Live Christmas Every
Day.
Mrs. Robert McAllister
read the beautiful
Christmas story and all
joined in singing the
hymn, 0 Little Town of
Bethlehem with Mrs. C.
Edward at the piano.
Scripture from Luke's
gospel was read by Mrs.
Girvin Young. Christmas
meditations from the
Glad Tidings magazine
were read by Mrs. O.
Falkiner interspersed
with several Christmas
carols, providing in-
teresting devotions, Mrs.
Marguerite Horton gave
the Fellowshpp of the
Least Coin with the
theme of peace.
Minutes of the last
meeting were read by the
secretary, Mrs.
Catherine Wilson and the
roll call was answered by
members relating
something that im-
pressed them about
Christmas.
The various secretaries
gave their monthly
reports. Mrs. G.C. White,
Life Membership
secretary, then presented
Life Membership. cer-
tificates to Mrs. Ernest
(Ella) Bogie and 'Mrs.
Alex (Pearl) Straiton as
well as an Honorary Life
Membership to Mrs. G.L.
(Audrey) Royal. The
president thanked these
ladies for their interest in
W.M.S. work and
