Lions in first place with
21 points on the strength
of two four -point wins,
their six other league
victories and the one tie.
The game with
Hanover was close
throughout, with each
team• scoring twice in the
first period, and Hanover
holding a 3-2 lead after
two periods only to see
the Lions tie it up with
less than two minutes left
in the game. From there,
Hanover came back 26
seconds later to score the
winning goal, and then
added an insurance
marker with 16 seconds
remaining in the game.
Rob Gibbons spened
the scoring for the Lions
in the first period, on a

and flipped it past him.
Walkerton pays a
return visit here this
Saturday at 5 p.m. and,
based on Sunday's game,
this should be another
