Santa Claus was the highlight of the town's annual Christmas
parade held on Saturday as he rode down South Street and around
the Square behind the other floats with his elves and, reindeer.
Later he held• Santa's Court in the Park -Theatre and many
children came to sit on his knee and whisper in his ear what they
wanted' for Christmas. It was good weather for a parade and the
crowds were thick. (Photo by Joanne Buchanan)
