months ahead we can do
some of these crafts. Also
included in the same book
are geographical and
pictorial pictures
History of Canada. In
Ontario in 1821, there
were 122,716 inhabitants.
Mr. Walter Dexter has
returned home from
hospital in London. The
Dexters were long time
residents of this area,
Walter's father having
had a blacksmith shop.
Mrs. Tillie Smith,
another •former resident ..
of this area, is a patient in
Kincardine Hospital.
Mr. and . Mrs-. -Jim
Bradley are proud to
announce the birth of a
.'grandson, born to
Maureen and David
Thomas of Brussels.
Mr: .and Mrs. D.A.
MacLennan spent the
past weekend in London
with daughter Peggie and
her husband 'Ted. Mr.
Finlay MacLennan also
visited in the same home.
The MacLennans also
visited with Miss Katie
Sutherland who has been
under a doctor's care.
Of course, everyone
watched the hockey game
Saturday evening to see
David Farrish in action.
Duncan and Peggy
Farrish journeyed to
Toronto where they saw
the game and visited with
son David of the New
York Rangers.
Mrs. Wellington
Webster spent the
weekend in Kitchener
with son Jim.
'It was 41-1 Achievement
Day on Saturday in
Teeswater. Several from
this area attended,among
them Donna Elphick who
received honors on
completing her 18th club.
Perhaps this Christmas
Season would be a good
8 time to, remember the
words of the unknown
author who wrote:
DO IT NOW
If you have kind words
to say,say them now.
Tomorrow° may not
come your way
Do a kindness_ while you
may.
Loved ones will not
always stay, say them
now.
If you have some song
to sing,sing it now.
Let the, tones of glad-
ness ring
Clear as song of bird in
spring.
Let each day some
music bring,sing it now.
