If you want the local paper to be better, you must do your part. Reporters, one by one, quit doing this public service, because you do not tell them the newsyou have or co- operate in helping to make the column and the local paper interesting. The paper can only exist by the help of community minded people. We have lost so much in our community ac- tivities, with the loss of our small schools, our small churches, our small meeting places, let us not lose our small town papers. Let us show our • true community spirit by doing our part. It was certainly nice to see the sign Lochalsh printed in large letters on the forme Frank and Annie Maclennan store, this summer. Thanks, folks, we were one family proud to have this done. Happiness is best at- tained by learning to live each day by itself. The worries are mostly about yesterday, and to- morrow. So to busy our minds let us consider doing some type of Craft 'such as found in this article, called Treasures which I shall try to explain from week to week. Have you tried using geranium leaves to form a Canopy in a flat or shallow dish, that has small flowers (real or artificial), around the .edge: • It's' lovely in a ' corner in your entrance or on your dining room table.
