tivated and grazing, lands is difficult
to determine. Ou the well kept farm*

from weeds may be as high as ten
dollara per acre. Taking tbe lower

have a loss of 528,000,000 per year.
The weed increase which has been iso
rapid during the past ten years will,
if not checked, cavae a direct loss'
to the Ontario farmers of $100,000,-
000 per annum.
