The game in Mount Forest was a four -point game. The pair of wins leaves' the Lions with a league record of two wins and one loss and an over-all record offive wins and two losses, including exhibition games. The win over Port Elgin here gave the Lions revenge for a 5-4 loss at the hands of the Port Elgin team in their league opener last week in Port Elgin. The Lions left little doubt of their desire to win Saturday as they came out hitting and never let up. Daryl Madge opened the Goderich, scoring, clicking on a pass from John Thompson midway through the first period. Grant Garrow's goal on a breakaway pass .from Trevor Martin gave the Lions a 2-0 edge. Paul Keating got one back for Port Elgin early in the second period I, FORMAL BALANCE also called symmetrical and bisymmetrical by Carolyn Porter our on-siaff interior design consultant. Eight seconds after Carr's goal, Daryl Madge got his third goal of the game to stake the Lions to a 4-3 lead after two periods. The Lions controlled the game in the third period 'as their consistent forechecking and taking the man slowed the bigger Port Elgin team down. Paul Brenner cashed in on a rebound on a play with John "Thompson and Daryl Madge and Nick Trebish scored the final Goderich goal, assisted by Todd Graham, to account for the rest of the scoring. Trevor Martin handed out some solid body checks to lead a fine effort by the Lions' defensive corps. It was strictly no contest in Mount Forest.
