Knox nuptials
Knox Presbyterian Churchin Goderich was
decorated with chrysanthemums and straw flower
pew ties for the wedding ceremony of Bethany Jane
Robertson of Goderich and Michael Christopher
Gersonde of Toronto on Saturday, September 23.
The Reverend G. L. Royal officiated at the double
ring ceremony. Organist Lorne Dotterer supplied the
music.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She
wore a dress of champagne colored satin featuring a
V -neckline, large bell sleeves and a lace inset at the
bodice. The bottom of the dress was gathered in a
flounce with a lace edging. A cape with a lace border
in matching satin swept to the floor in the fashion of a
bridal train and draped at the shoulders to match the
draped sleeves of the dress.
The bride carried a bouquet of sweetheart roses and
baby mums 'centered around a ,green cymbidium
orchid.
Maid of honor was Miss Mary Van Diepen of RR6
Goderich, friend of the bride. She wore a mint green
dress with an emerald green floral background in the
same basic design as the bride's dress.
Mrs. Karen Reynolds of Sarnia was a bridesmaid.
. She wore a plain emerald green dress snatching the
maid of honor's dress.
Both attendants carried nosegays of bronze daisies
and wore natural straw hats with silk roses catching a
green chiffon which was tied around the crowns of the
hats.
Groomsman was Luchio Babich of London. Guests
were ushered into the church by Joseph Dunlop-
Addley of Apen, Ontario, friend of the groom; Stephen
Robertson, brother of the bride; and John Gersonde of
Toronto, brother of the groom.
All of the groom's attendants wore chocolate brown
tuxedos with autumn toned sweetheart roses in their
lapels.
The groom wore a beige tuxedo with tails and a
cluster of sweetheart roses in his lapel.
Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was
held at the home of the bride's parents. Music was
provided by Timothy Thorne of London, a friend of the
bride and groom.
The bride's mother received guests wearing a mint
green dress with a buttoned bodice and a pleated skirt.
She wore a spray of sweetheart roses for a corsage.
For a weekend at .the Benmiller Inn, the bride
changed to a two-piece blue-green suit with a green
cymbidium orchid in the lapel of her jacket. The
groom changed to a three-piece bege suit.
Mr. and Mrs. Gersonde are residing at 1247 Huron
Street in London.
Guests were present at the wedding from Toronto,
Wiarton, London, Goderich and the surrounding
areas.

Wed in Goderich
St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Goderich was
the scene of a wedding uniting Mary Elizabeth Bowers
and Thomas Stark in marriage on October 14.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Bowers of Goderich. The groom is the son of Mrs.
Theresa Stark of Zurich.
The Reverend Father A.F. Loebach officiated at the
double ring ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Ross Kerr were married in Berea-By-
The='Water Lutheran Church in Goderich on October 6.
The bride is the slaughter of Mr. ,and Mrs. Bob
Farrish of Kintail and the groom is the son of Mrs.
Vera Kerr of Harriston.
The bride's attendants were Nancy Moran, sister of
the bride; Debbie Moran, sister-in-law of the bride;
and Cathy Simpson, friend of the bride.
The groom's attendants were Allan Drennan, friend
of the groom; Ken Moran, brother of the bride; and
Joe Dehiet, brother-in-law of the groom.
Mr. and Mrs. Kerr are residing in Goderich.
