Jim Kingsley came through with three vic- tories to lead the pack with eight wins. Steve gained his first two wins with the club while another newcomer Mark Russell achieved his first victory. Both Mark and Owen advanced to Level three. Barry Page won one and lost one to take over continued his ' th id T.; I-, winning ways with two more victories to hold down second place with six wins. Louis Stadelmann picked up two more wins while Charlie Macdonald and Bob Dick both notched victories to remain un- defeated. Bob Fitzjames cliinbed into the second level via a big night with three wins! Now that Mike Cox got winning ways under his belt he won three of four to advance to the third level. Owen Moriarty e'1 ea in eve 4 Phil Abbott was welcomed back to the club. In the most improved section Steve Hammill continues to hold a huge lead with a remarkable .833 improvement while Bob Fitzjames is up a huge .464. North-South com- petition was keen with three pairs sharing first and second place. On- October 19 the Soodoc had arrived light for • salt from Hamilton and was laid up due to the strike. On October 21 the Shelter Bay had arrived light from Chicago and was laid up due to the strike. John Donatis and John Wood had the high point total for the evening and topped the East-West pairs with 96% points. The Dogies swept French for seven points to. boost , their season total to 31, six better than the second place Tail Ends. Augie Stegenstad led the Dogiesei with a 302 single and 740 triple while last place French got good efforts from Randy Hugill and Kevin Rumig. Hugill hit a 292 single and Rumig a 707 three game score. The Cleaners are in the league cellar with 12 points. Ron Sowerby and Steve Allen kept the Tail Ends within reach of the Dogies helping the Ends take seven off Little Bowl. Sowerby rolled a 255 single and Allen chipped in a 650 triple to pace the Ends to seven. Little Bowl's loss dropped them to fourth place, just two away from the , second place Ends. Sonny Moore had the big evening for his club with a 299 single and 769 triple. Roy's Boys got the job done against the BD's grabbing seven on the night to move into third spot, one off second place Ends. Heinz Sartori hit a 252 single and 694 triple to help the Boys grab seven with Don Johnston's 232 single and 538 triple went for naught. The BD's are in a three way tie for fifth' place with 22 points. The Recalls lost a bid to move into the league lead when they were white washed by the. Signal Stars. Tom Flynn rolled a 286 single and 816 triple to help his club :get seven and boost their season record to 15, three points out of the basement. Charlie Williams hit a 254 single and 664 triple but his club had to settle for a three way tie for fifth with 22 points for the year. Brian McLean and Steve Chase were strong performers for Huromic Metals and helped the Metals move into a tie for fifth. McLean managed a 248 single and Chase had a 645 three game total to help the Metals to five. Lee Ryan's 253 single and 660 triple kept the Hopefuls from a basement spot. The Hopefuls managed to take two off the Metals and stay two up on last place French. He broke this score with a little 28 Ga, Remington pump. Next high single round score was 21 hit by three shooters Harrison Schoch, Al Kyle, and John Hessels.. Pete Black hit 20 and John Hessels. Jack Gilbert rolled a 201 and 579 triple for his team taking two points and tying for fifth. The Unlucky Six, despite their name grabbed seven points, tying them for first, with the help of Ed Johnston's 244 and 587 triple. The shutout was despite Nancy Willis hitting a 264 and 627 triple. Schoch Zurich and Bill Stewart were tied for first with 84 per cent Pete Black Clinton 79 per cent Al Kyle Brucefield 74 per cent John Anderson Kippen 71 per cent. In 20 Gauge skeet Bill Stewart Goderich had 84 per cent and John Hessels Goderich 66 per cent were the leaders. In 28 Gauge skeet Bill Stewart had 80 per cent and *John Hessels 68 per 'cent.
