THATTTT! No, I'm not
excited. I'm ecstatic!
Well, that brings the
count up. Let's see -- we
started out with two, it
jumped to 14 and 1 believe
this little one makes a
- count of 12 greats!
GREAT? - I'll say!
Then soon after this
news, a nice cheerful lady
called to tell me who the
fork lift operator was that
impressed me with his
smoothness of lifting
little buildings.
Mrs. Jim Robertson
said her husband \was
pleased that I had even
noticed the incident and
he works for the Goderich
Manufacturing Com-
pany, not Champion Road
Machinery as I had
assumed. Jim has been
with his company for 31
years! This is a lot of
years, Jim, to be with one
company - I hope a big fat
retirement pay is waiting
when you get around to it.
Jim has not been
operating the big fork all
these years - he gradually
worked "into it". When
you like your job, you
take pride in it and you
are happy, the boss is

Isplendid work you do, so
it is a nice circle.
Come out and audition
on October 10 and 11 for
next play. Goderich Little
Theatre is getting ready
for their 1978 - 79 winter
season with a great
happy musical to please
adults and kids alike. I
.think some plans are
being made for a special
good play closes. All the
'dialogue, songs and hard
work that go into these
plays should carry over
to Blyth or Clinton - or
some place rather .than
putting it back into a
cupboard.
1 can just imagine the
costumes needed for such
a musical as this .- the
scenery, the
choreography, direction,
special -music and the
practice, practice,
practice. There are about
16 performers - maybe
more - then, the back
stage people. This work
includes the scenes, the
make-up; the props and
many things it takes to
put a good show on the
boards.
So, audition& should be
interesting and fun. You
just can't help but enjoy
what you are doing. Oh, I
know sometimes you
don't see eye to eye on
'certain things but it takes
a lot of little jobs, well
done, to make a suc-
cessful show: or
So, all you have to give
is a cheerful performance
in whatever you are doing
- if it is only sweeping.up -
it is still important. AND
even little theatres get
the jitters = and a button -
busting burst of pride
opening nite.
So, call Clarence'
