HASTY: In loving memory
of our dear wife and mother,
Audrey Hasty, who passed
away September 10, 1975.
One heart of gold stopped
beating,
Hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to
prove to us,
He only takes the best.
Oh, what we would give if we
could say,
We'll go and see Audrey
today,
To seek her advice, to see
her smile,
To sit and talk with her
awhile.
We have lost and God has
gained
The greatest wife and
mother this world contained.
You passed away without
gogdbye,
But our memories of you will
never die.
Lovingly remembered by
Lorne,,Irene and Brock. -36

The Goderich Sailing
Club finished off the
-rae4ng---•season--with its -
annual Round -Up
Regatta last weekend.
Eight different keel
boats and four dinghies
participated in the three -
race affair, which also
included the "Cock-of-
theWalk” Saturday
evening race.
Wings were steady
from the south - on
Saturday, but on Sunday
the sailors had to contend
with 35 knot winds' and 6
to 1 0. foot waves.
The races were filled
with excitement right
from the start..Each had
its share of near
collisions, frustrating
attempts to fly . spin-
nakers, and particularly
on Sunday, a lot of wet
and exhausted crews. •
One young crew
member was nearly lost
overboard, and another
boat experienced a near
broach while flying a
chute.
Certainly not the day
for anyone with a weak
stomach!
The steadiest sailor of
the lot was Ken Bauer
