Cgt Visiting cou Mr. and Mrs. Fined Davison .of 12351 Wade Street in Detroit, Michigan have been visiting at the home of their nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Good and family. RR 1, Auburn for the past week and were taken out on Friday evening to a surprise dinner in Walkerton on -the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary_ Mr. William Kerr, Mr. = - Davison's cousin of Walkerton was .also a guest. They evere more sur- prised when arriving home to find that their three grand -nephews, Michael, Larry and Donald Good had the housetastefully decorated for the oc- casion. Mr. and Mrs. Davison were married in Detroit on June 30, 1928. Mrs. Davison was the former Elizabeth Walter of the fourth concession Colbcirne Township, the daughter of the late William and Louisa Walter and Fred Davison is the son of the late John and Catherine Davison of Bayfield. Guests were present from Goderich, Dungannon, Auburn, Blyth, Colborne Tnwn- ship, Collingwood and the surrounding areas. , SOCIAL NEWS Miss Sylvia Rutowski of Vancouver and her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Lothar Schedler, Michael and Linda of Kitchener, visited last Saturday with Mrs. Eleanor Bradnock and called on other friends in the village. Miss Rutowski .used to live with her family on John Street. Masters Robbie, Donald and Philip Livermore of Fordwich visited last week for a few days with their grand- parents, M. and Mrs. Donald Haines. Mrs. Orville Free is still a patient in Clinton Public Hospital. She is wished speedy„ recovery. Knox • decorated Knox Presbyterian Church in Goderich for the wedding of Trudy Ann Botz and Wayne Stanley McLean on Saturday, June 10 at 2 p.m. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Reverend G.L. Royal and organ music was provided by Mr. Lorne Dotterer. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benson Botz and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George McLean all of Goderich. Given in marriage by her father, the bride looked lovely in a long sleeved gown of pure silk Aurna, featuring a- high neckline and a.set-in bodice of Belgium lace. The skirt fell fulEto the back to form a -chapel train. She wore a capulet and veil trimmed -with tiny •daisies to 'match the daisy chain on the hem of her dress. The bride carried a white bible that her mother carried on her weddineday. It was decorated with red roses. She also wore a string of pearls that belonged to her maternal grandmother. Maid of honor was Miss Wendy Botz, sister of the bride. She wore a long pink highwaisted gown with tiny Ptraps and a matching cape with bows on the shoulders. She carried a basket of daisies and pink carnations and wore a silk rose in her hair. Bridesmaids were Miss Patti &Az, Sister of the bride, Miss.Wendy_McLean. and Miss Susan McLean, sisters of the groom. They were gowned the same as the maid of honor, and each onehad a pink silk rose in _ _ her hair. They each carried baskets of daisies and pink carnations.
