Monday.
Big innings played a
major role in the outcome
of the two games and in
the first game Dashwood
struck for four runs in
both the third and fifth
innings enroute to the 11 -
a.win.
Dashwood scored three
runs in the first inning

four runs in the third
inning with the help of
two Goderich errors.
Goderich scored single
runs in the second and
third innings and rallied
for three runs in the sixth.

engineered the sixth
inning rally with a triple

It' was a busy sporting weekend in Goderich
over the D'oniinion Day holiday weekend and
the variety of events included a horseshoe
tournament, a tennis tournament,a lawn
bowling tournament as well as a host of softball
and soccer games. at Agriculture Park. The
second annual horseshoe tournament spop-
sored by the Legion drew 50 entries from the
Southwestern Ontario regi
Saturday.
Two Goderich boys softball teams have been
formed and .while they have been restricted to
playing each other it is expected they will'play'' -
some exhibition games against township
teams. -
