Committee of Goderich have planned a day
especially for the citizens of this town as well as
visitors.
An ecumenical (or interdenominational)
service at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church is
an appropriate way t start the day at 10:30
a.m. and one in which everyone can unite and
give thanks for divineguidance over the years.

service and music arrangements. The
Reverend R.J. Crocker will be the speaker
assisted by Lieutenant Niel Watt and the
Reverend John Wood.
COMMEMORATIVE

Following the church service, there will be a
short • but very impressive Commemorative
Service in Court House Park at 11:55 a.m. The
Reverend G.L. Royal will be the master of
ceremonies.
There will be a parade from the Legion Hall
consisting of the Branch 109 color parties with
piper Jack MacKenzie and Girl Guides,
Brownies, Ranger's, Rovers, Boy Scouts, Cubs,
Beavers and Venturers marching to the park
platform.
There will be words of welcome from Mayor
Deb Shewfelt, greetings from Les Arndt of Bay

Goderich's twin city', Weymouth, Saskat-
chewan. as well as a few words by Warden

five months.
At that point board member Jim Britnell
interjected and said the board was only acting
do the best information it had received from
administration.
"I want to say that the money was not
squandered and there is no money missing,"
Britnell stated. "The money is owed to people
for work they have done."
Dr. Watts then asked what had happened to
the hospital's capital fund and Mrs. Berry
replied that it was used to offset part of the
deficit. When asked if the board had approved
use of the capital fund for operating ex-
penditures, ' Mrs. • Berry replied, "Not
specifically so."
Board member Clark Teal said tha.t those in
attendance had a right to ask questions and that.
they were searching questions. He added that if
anyone was not satisfied with the answers, then
he should pursue the matter.
"We had a difficult'' time and had to agonize
made by Mary Dzus in co-operation with the
Home and School Association. There will be hot
dogs, birthday cake and pop for all the children
who are asked to practise singing 0 Canada for
the party. Mr. Morley's band organ music will
also be there to make music for the children.
A.C.O. PLAQUES

other buildings in the town to receive plaques
from the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario
on this occasion. A bus will leave the chlurch
luncheon and proceed on a tour of these homes.

special building will be on the tour that day for
extra attention.

the medical staff wants to pursue the matter of
recording minutes and maintaining beds to
ensure a high quality of health care.
Dr. Hollingworth said that although board
meetings are closed and there has been some
discrepancies in the reporting of the minutes
that either the.press or an independent person,
who could report to the press, should attend the
meetings.
At one point Dr.`, D. Walker suggested to :
board chairman, .M „ Berry, that perhaps.-'
some changes should be made at the board
level to accurately scrutinize management.
