To a kindergarten student cleaning up paint brushes after some five year old art work is
no small chore and these two Holmesville kindergarten students are no exception.
Elizabeth Hummel, daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Hummel, and Leigh Ann Thom,
daughter of Douglas and Millie Thom; dressed for the occasion and appear to be con-
centrating on doing the job right. Some art work done by Holmesville students was put on
display in the school halls for parents to observe during open house, part of the school's
activities for Education Week. (photo by Jeff Seddon)
Concentration is the key to any puzzle and Elizabeth Hummel seems deep in thought as
she looksfor the key to this puzzle in her Holmesville school kindergarten class. The five
year old, daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Hummel, is at the start of her education and
joined her older schoolmates recently to honor Education Week in Ontario. Students at
Holmesville held an entertainment night for, parents and went on with their class room
activities despite interruptions like this during the school's open house. (photo by Jeff
