DROWNED MANS BODY FOUND
The body of Calvin Wetzel cif
Windsor, who was drowned while
bathing,. at Grand Band an Sunday
morning, Aug. 14 was discavered
anout noon, Thtt day, by F. Grattan
of Grand Bend, It had been, washed
un on the beach at Kettle Paint.
Gratton was motoring along the shore
in search af the body when he saw
it in the water; The reattain had
been. terribly bruised, owing to the
storm which made the Lake so tough
for several days. The body was tak-
en to Parkhill and forwarded to +\'ind-
sor. The snot, where the body wa,s
fu and is about .eight miles from
where the drowning occurred.
AUTO ACCIDENT NEAR
GREENWAY
Parkhill, Aug. 19.—Twa cars, one
driven by Mr. VIawson, and awned by
Jack Nicholas, a school teacher, and
one awned and driven by Dave Pat-
toll of West Williams, locked wheels
when endeavoring to pass on, the
Grand Bend road, .one mile west of
Greenway, on Wednesday evening.
Both cars were ditched and had
wheels torn, off them. .The Ford was
badly damaged. No ane was injured.
