Joys and tinsel glittering bright, All the world was covered in white. We could smell the turkey and the wine, And the scent of our fesh cut pine. Children jumping up and down And Parents danceing round and round. It's time to put the star on top, ALL the people be quiet and stop. Later we heard a good loud cheer, Of Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Ken Linner Grade6 Colborne Central CHRISTMAS DAY Jesus was born in the manger that day, Oh, dear savior, we all must pray. So to this day our remem- brance of him, Is Santa Claus. Corning down the chimney, In the light so dim ! Santa Claus will come on the 25th, 1 hope don't have to give him a lift. To get him up the chimney, We hope you'll be there, To witness his arrival, I hope you'll care. MERRY CHRISTMAS! Men rejoiced on that Christmas morn. Baby Jesus lay on a crude bed of hay, In a manger which was the only way. Kings brought forth rich gifts of gold He's the Messiah the angels told. The gifts that lie under the Christmas Tree, Are in remembrance of He. Cheefully wrapped up gifts and popping corn, Will remind us of that blessed morn. Some people think Cristmas is only for receiving, Offering a prayer of thanks and hoping that the beauty of the Holy Birth will surround you at Christmastide. The Christmas tree is shining bright, Because of many colourful lights. All the beautiful snow on land, Makes it nicer for a snowman. Sitting by the fireplace, String popcorn lace by lace. Santa Claus will come tonight, Through the chimneys flight after flight.
