elected to Ontario Provincial
Command at Windsor con-

held that office since then.

wife from Kincardine;
Comrade George Campbell,
Zone Commander and his
wife from Clinton; Comrade
•Peg Coombes, Auxiliary Zone
Commander and her.hushand
from Seaforth; and Paul,
Brian and Randy Carroll,
sons of Comrade Evelyn.
Sharon Scruton, her
daughter, is second vice-
president of the Ladies'
Auxiliary. Janice Henry,
another daughter from Blyth
was unable to attend. Many
friends from out of town
attended.
Be
Karen Draper of the Ladies' Legion Auxiliary in Goderich presented her grandfather,
Dave McMillan, a gold pen and pencil set with the Legion crest on it, on behalf of the
Ladies' Auxiliary on Tuesday, December 13. Comrade McMillan Is the only surviving
chartered member of Branch 109 which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and
because of this the Ladies' Auxiliary wanted to do him honor. To the right is Mr.
McMillan's son Maurice, also a member of Branch 109.

Evelyn is the daughter of
Mr. Bert Munday of Goderich
and a lifelong resident of this
town.
After the awards were
made, the draw was made on
the Christmas cake and the
winners were K. McDonald,
Gladys Willert and Marie Le,.
Blanc all of Goderich. The
cake was made and donated
by Marg McMillan and her
daughter Karen Draper and it
was iced by Hilda Hirst. The
tickets were donated by

Santa Claus then arrived
and an exchange of gifts took
place and there was a happy
hour with a lovely punch bowl
and delicious lunch served by
Eileen Beauchemin and her
committee.
All in all it was a wonderful
night full of love and
comradeship. Merry
Christmas and Happy New
