They found Mrs. Fowler up in a wheelchair and much improved from when they had seen her before. She hopes to he able to spend Colborne • from page 21 Highway 21 north. He then moved to Goderich where he operated the Flick Coal Yard for many years. Later he moved to London, where his wife passed away. He then lived with his daughter. He enjoyed fairly good health until the last year or more. He was a member of Ontario St. United Church, London. The community is pleased to report that Mrs. Randall Marriott, Saltford, has returned home after having surgery at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Christmas in the apartment with Mr. Fowler and their nnn Tom and his family. Mrs. Geordie lkivett, who has been living in Clinton, returned to the village and moved into her new home on the 4th concession next to her son Jim and his family, on Friday evening. Little Ianthe Mabon, daughter of Mr, and Mrs, Ian Mabon, spent five days recently in Goderich Hospital with the croup. Kait ting, represented the Institut and joined with the resident in a sing -song of Christma carols. While all joined in singin Jingle Bells, Santa (Mrs. 0, Falkiner) arrived with hi pack of gifts for resident with birthdays in December, Lunch was served to th residents and the Institut members visited with man of the Colborne and Goderic residents while Mr. Falkine played several selections o the piano. Say Grand Bend work done in March Members of the Ausable- Hayfield Conservation Authority learned at the annual meeting Friday that the proposed erosion control work at Grand Bend could he completed by the end of \larch. 1978.
